The
Check-Face
system allows archiving the data from checks from all bank branches to the main bank
database. Each check received is archived with a fingerprint of the person who owns the
check. As an option, the person's picture can be archived with the check
instead of a fingerprint.
The Check-Face units are connected to the Bank Headquarters using the bank's WAN, where data are stored. Before the check is approved, the Check-Face software checks the customer's verification and rejections list and decides whether to approve or reject the check.
