The SESAM Enterprise Server enables control of operations and communication over networks of multiple local SESAM Servers. The Local SESAM Servers installed in different sites manage these sites with respect to Access control, Alarms, Fire detection, CCTV, and Safe Lock control. 

The SESAM Enterprise Server and the SESAM Local Servers are networked over WAN/LAN; the Enterprise Server communicates and controls all the site servers.

 The SESAM Enterprise Server receives alarms, access control messages, video, and other events from multiple sites and can control each site individually. It incorporates a sophisticated database Replicator, which provides automatic database control of the multiple sites.
